300 people attend free medical camp at Khanna

LUDHIANA, NOVEMBER 27, 2016: As many as 300 people got themselves checked in a health camp which was organized at Gurudwara Sahib, village Malikpur, Khanna. The camp was held with the initiative of peoples of Malikpur, Dashmesh Youth Sports Club, Satya Bharti School, Malikpur, Khanna and Dr. Ranbir Singh Sekhon, General Secretary, All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Ludhiana.

A team of specialized doctors from Ivy Hospital, Khanna including Dr. Mohit Vij, Orthopaedics, Dr. Subh Mahendru, Oncology, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, ENT and Saffy Kansal, Dental extended free consultation and valuable expert advice to the people in camp.

A blood donation camp organized by Civil Hospital, Khanna, collected 100 units of blood. The certificates were given to the blood donation volunteers

Dr. Rhibhu Soni and Dr. Rubina Soni from Soni Eye Care, Doraha examined 300 students of Satya Bharti School and Government School, Malikpur with eye problems and distributed free spectacles to the needy.

Physiotherapy doctors extended their free services to 100 physiotherapy patients at the camp. Dr. Ranbir Singh Sekhon, Dr. Gaurav Thareja and Dr. Devabrata Kalla from the Department of Physiotherapy from All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Ludhiana provided their consultation and treatment during camp.
