985th Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp being held at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, on Sunday.
Ludhiana, March 23, 2014: 985th Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp was held at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, in which 31 physically handicapped persons were provided artificial limbs, calipers & hearing aids machines. The camp was sponsored by Adarsh Jiwan Raksha Trust.
K.K Singla C.J.M was the Chief Guest. He appreciated the work of Bharat Vikas Parishad for their continued effort to provide aids & appliances to the physically handicapped persons and rehabilitate them to earn their livelihood.
Ravi Nandan Sharma, President Adhaar, The Foundation and Subash Goel, President Adarsh Jiwan Raksha Trust were the guest of honour. They applauded the work of Trust and assured to hold such camps in future also.
Yash Pal Gupta, National Chairman Vanvasi Sahayta presided over the function.
On this occasion, a free medical camp was also held in which free lab test, consultation & medicines were given to 200 patients by experienced doctors of BVP Polyclinic.
Suraj Jyoti President, Trust informed that from 1st April renowned eye Specialist Dr. Lajpat Rai will be available in their polyclinic on every Monday & Wednesday.
Dr. Kuldip, Neelam Gupta, Suman Gupta, Aruna Puri, Dr. D.R.C Bakhetia, Ajay Sharma, R.P Gupta & members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present.
