Recognizing the concerning under insurance in India, Aegon Life Insurance took a unique approach to spread awareness about the need of right insurance.

With an active participation of Aegon Relationship Connect – an established and accredited distribution vertical – interacted with about 13,000 employees of at least 20 companies across 9 cities – Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Indore, Nagpur, and Kolkata. The insurer partnered with engage4more to interact with young corporate employees.

Aegon Life Insurance created a Mascot draped in bubblewrap, indicating a signboard - “Get Real Protection” or “Am I really secured”. This mascot interacted with employees to reinforce the need for insurance and give a reality check to employees about their current security cover.

Speaking about the initiative, Aegon Life Insurance’s Chief Digital Officer Martijn De Jong said, “We feel very strongly about protection and wanted to create a dialogue about the fact that India has persistently been ranked low in the insurance arena. We also wanted to be mindful that a dull and banal method of engagement will not work or have the desired effect. We, therefore, have opted for the creative and fun engagement method and believe that it has worked. We have seen a positive feedback from these companies.”

Engage4more Founder & Director Nishant Parashar said “We created an active platform to engage with employees and add value to them to enhance their quality of work-life balance. This partnership with Aegon Life has certainly helped us empower them with the right insurance knowledge to improve their life."
