Chandigarh, December 4, 2015: The Punjab Government has notified the reconstituted Agriculture and NRIs Affairs Department Advisory Committee. The new committee would advise in framing and executing policies of these departments for the Year 2015-16.
A government spokesperson said Agriculture and NRIs Affairs Minister would be the Chairman of the Committee. The spokesperson said that committee would have 5 official members including Chief Parliamentary Secretary Agriculture, Additional Chief Secretary (Development), Principal Secretary NRIs Affairs and Head of concerned department.
The committee would have 10 non-official members, five from the Shiromani Akali Dal Mr. Jeet Mohinder singh sidhu, Mr. Gurtej singh ghuriana, Mr. Harpreet singh,Mr. Deep Malhotra and Mr. Hari singh, three from the Congress including Mr. Sunder sham Arora, Mr. Tarlochan Singh and Smt. Guriqbal Kaur, one from the Bhartiya Janta Party namely Smt. Sukhjit Kaur shahi and one Mr. Rajnish Kumar.
