Agriculture Department Cautions People Against Fake Recruitment Advertisements For Kisan Call Centres

Chandigarh, September 9, 2015:  The Punjab Agriculture Department today cautioned people not to fall prey fraudulent advertisements for recruitment to Kisan Call Centres appearing in Newspapers seeking applications.
A spokesperson of Agriculture Department advised the youth to be vigilant against such fraudulent advertisements by suspicious agents/agencies who were luring the youth and collecting rupees one thousand with applications. He warned that such people were committing fraud on the name of recruitment in Agriculture Department.
He said that the department has received reports of fraudulent advertisements to target rural and urban unemployed youth by some fake agencies. He said these fake agents have also publishing their advertisements through newspapers /internet whereas others are doing these illegal activities through telephone and mobiles.
The spokesman further appeal the people to share this significant information with their family and friends to ensure they do not become a victim and if someone received a call from any company/agency regarding offering job and demands money then immediately inform Chief Agriculture Officer of concerned district.
He advises the unemployed youth that before applying and depositing money against any vacancy, everyone is required to personally seek advice and authenticate the details with respective Government Departments.
