Aman Ghai represented India with distinction in South Asian Swimming Championship

Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College has continued its trend of producing fine world class sportspersons and the latest name on this ever growing list is that of Aman Ghai, a swimmer produced by the college who has represented the country with distinction in the South Asian Swimming Championship by bagging one gold and three silver medals. College governing council has rewarded the student with a cash prize of Rs. 31,000 as a token of encouragement.
Princpial Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra reiterated the fact that the college has always palced a special emphasis on sports which has further helped in producing quality sportspersons for the country and who are earning laurels for the college all over the world. Dr. Samra congratuletd Aman Ghai on this success and said the college is proud of its jewels like him who prior to this achievement has represented Guru Nanak Dev University with similar distinctions in national level events bagging gold, silver and bronze medals.
Prof. Jaspal Singh, HOD Physical Education, Prof. Simranjit Singh Bains, Dean Sports Committee, Prof. Tarsem Singh and other faculty members also witnessed the program to honour Aman Ghai.
