Antony Congratulates Silver Medallist Subedar Vijay Kumar

New Delhi, August 4, 2012: The Defence Minister AK Antony has congratulated Subedar Vijay Kumar for winning the Silver Medal in the 25m rapid-fire shooting event at the London Olympics 2012. He said, “I congratulate Subedar Vijay Kumar for bringing laurels to the country. The Defence Forces are very proud of him. It was a great achievement in bagging the first Olympics medal for India in the pistol event. I wish him more success in the years to come.
