Apeejay’s budding artists exhibited their talent in its Talent Carnival 2017

Jalandhar, August 5, 2017: As the sun brightened its rays in hot summer, Apeejay’s budding artists exhibited their talent in its Talent Carnival 2017. 250 youngsters participated in different rounds and after being scrutinized by eminent judges near about 45 students qualified to participate in the final round today. On this auspicious occasion, the renowned Sufi Singer Hans Raj Hans encouraged the youngsters with his benign presence as the Chief Guest. Literary taste was ignited by the talented students in Poetry Recitation, Elocution while audience was mesmerized to listen to the harmonious presentations in Music Vocal and Music Instrumental items. The young actors of the College won the hearts of many by presenting Theatre Items. The vibrant performances of dance by fresh artists forced everyone to applaud enthusiastically.
In this contemporary era of cut-throat competition, students filled up with fresh talent competed with each other in diverse competitions like Poetry Recitation, Elocution, Saaz Mashup, Gazal, Sarangi, Light Music, Group Dance, One Act Play etc.
On this occasion, the legendary Punjabi Artist Hans Raj Hans who has Padam Shri Award to his credit along with many achievements motivated the students to touch pinnacles of glory with their hard work and talent. He said Apeejay is the only institute that grooms the overall personality of its students and provides them a platform to exhibit their talent. He set the stage on fire with his song from the upcoming Hollywood Movie Vice-Roy/Partition 1947.
Principal Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Mr. Hans Raj Hans and said that he is a true motivator for youngsters in this era of hard competitions. She said Apeejay always works hard to provide a suitable platform to its budding artists.
