Army recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt from 16 Jun 2014 to 18 Jun 2014

Jalandhar, May 28, 2014: The Sikh Regimental Centre Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) will be organizing a recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt under Unit Headquarter Quota (UHQ) for Son of Servicemen/Son of Ex-Servicemen Son of Widows/Son of War Widows and Brother of Servicemen for enrolment of Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper and Soldier General Duty from 16 Jun 2014 to 18 Jun 2014. No recruitment will be carried out for open category. Outstanding Sportsmen (only for Sikh Candidates) for Soldier General Duty may be considered upto a maximum limit of 20 % of total vacancies under Unit Headquarter Quota (UHQ). All Sikh candidates except Mazbi, Ramdasia, SC and ST from any states/Union Territory (UT) of India (only for relationship candidates) can appear for Soldier General Duty category. Screening for Soldier Clerks/Storekeeper relationship candidates from any States/Union Territory (UT) of India (All India All Caste) only for the wards of serving and Ex-Servicemen belonging to the Sikh Regiment can appear.
For Soldier General Duty, candidate should have passed class 10th with minimum 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates hailing from J&K except Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts should have passed simple 10th class. For Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper Class 12th pass candidate with minimum 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate will be considered.
Candidate should be between 17 ½ - 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½ to 23 years for Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper category.
Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and 15 colour passport size Photographs (in turban and without turban) attested on back side only.
