Amritsar, June 23, 2013: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Partap Singh Bajwa today met a deputation of Punjab Unemployed Veterinary Pharmacists Association and expressed shock over suicide committed by an unemployed veterinary pharmacist who was on the fore front to fight for justice for all of his colleagues.

Bajwa extended full support to the cause of Unemployed Veterinary Pharmacists and said that the sacrifice made by Jaswinder Singh a resident of Bathinda would not go waste. He said that he was shocked top know the plight of unemployed pharmacists. He said that there are many other qualified professionals in Punjab who are facing unemployment. He said that SAD-BJP government had ruined the life of educated youth. There are plenty of colleges but little of jobs.

Bajwa said that it was ironical that neither Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal or Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal took notice of the suicide by an unemployed youth and none of them visited the family of deceased. He said that Jaswinder Singh was married and he has a daughter. He said that unemployed veterinary pharmacists were agitating since long but SAD-BJP government has not listened to their demands.

PPCC president demanded to compensate family of Jaswinder Singh on the pattern of Sarabjiot Singh the Indian prisoner killed in Pakistan and Punjab Police ASI's killed by miscreants in the recent past. He demanded a compensation of Rs.25 lakhs and job for the wife of deceased Pharmacist.
