The current demonstration move of the Modi Government has tested the patience of the bankers who have always performed to every call of the nation earlier be it loaning under 20 point economic program of Indira Gandhi Govt.,financial inclusion or opening of Jan Dhan accounts of the poorest for the poor.

It is sad that government has failed to provide adequate infrastructure support to bankers in terms of police protection for crowd management and also for adequate security for staff and cash of the branches though cops can be seen deployed in dozens for the security of VVIPs and VIPs and Senior cops. Bankers are neglecting their families to work very late hours almost daily .Staff has not been able to cross check the documents for withdrawal of cash or exchange of cash properly .

Govt must deploy adequate security with banks for their safety and for safety of the customers’cash.
