Basharat Bukhari visits Gurudawara Chatti Padshahi Baramulla, greets people on Gurupurab

BARAMULLA, JUNE 10, 2017: Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari today visited Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi Baramulla to greet the Sikh community on the eve of Gurupurab being observed with religious fervor all over the country.
While extending his greetings, the Minister assured every assistance from the government for smooth conduct of celebrations in connection with the Gurupurab. He said that religious co-existence, harmony, peace and progress of all has been the way of life of all Sikh Gurus and Sikhism has presented a living example of excellent human values.
He directed the concerned authorities to maintain electricity, water and supply of other essential amenities at the venue till the conclusion of the celebrations. He also directed the officials to keep roads leading towards the Gurudwara neat and clean and remove any impediments for smooth flow of commuters.
The Minister was accompanied by MLA Baramulla, Javid Hassan Beigh, DDC Baramulla, SSP Baramulla, DIO and other officers.
