Bharat Jan Gyan Vigyan Jatha on Tuesday celebrates World Earth Day at Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, April 22, 2014: The Bharat Jan Gyan Vigyan Jatha organised a function on the occasion of the World Earth Day today at the Gurunanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School (Gujjarkhan) Model Town today.

Addressing the function, M S Bhatia expressed concern at that the healthy environment which is so essential for our life has not become political election agenda in the election to the Parliament. This shows lack of concern about environment among those at the helm of affairs. Therefore it is important that a powerful public movement is built on this issue so as to force the decision makers to take it seriously. Environmental degradation he said is causing serious affect on our health. The developed countries are responsible for this at the global level.
