Chandigarh, May 27, 2017: In view of the possibility of forthcoming elections to four municipal corporations at Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Patiala, BJP Punjab president Vijay Sampla held a joint meeting of the prominent party workers from the four municipal corporation areas here today.
On the occasion, he announced poll in-charges for 4 municipal corporations as under:
Amritsar
Kamal Sharma (former state president) and Manjit Singh Rai (state general secretary)
Jalandhar
Ashwani Sharma (former state president) and Iqbal Singh Lalpura (state vice president)
Ludhiana
Prof Brij Lal Rinwa (former state president) and Vineet Joshi (state secretary)
Patiala
Madan Mohan Mittal (former state president) and Harjit Singh Grewal (state vice president)
It may be mentioned here that the elections are still to be announced officially and BJP Punjab has taken a lead in taking a step ahead in this direction.
