Dharamshala, January 20, 2017: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitly said that BJP will make a clean sweep in HP assembly elections slated for this year end.
Speaking at the workers’ gathering ‘Tridev Sammelan’ at Rait(Shahpur) near Dharamshala on Friday Jaitly said, “The workers must work on the agenda that ‘mera booth sabse mazboot’, and you (workers) should spread Modi’s message repeatedly to the masses that he has given one rank one pension OROP, and continuously taking the decisions in the favor of general public.” He said that workers are the backbone of the party.
He said that poor people will be benefited if the corruption is abolished from Himachal. He said, “Modi has given double funds to Himachal in just one year as compared to the funds given by Manmohan Singh in 5 years.” He added that Himachal is capable to be financially strong using natural resources and tourism.
Jaitly said, “I think this time there should be a clean sweep in HP Elections.”
Without naming anybody, Jaitly pin pointed HP CM that the corruption cases against him was of 2011, during UPA government and when came to the limelight he puts the blame over BJP. Jaitly said that Delhi has firm evidences against him.
Ex-CMs of HP Shanta Kumar and PK Dhumal were also present in the meeting. Shanta said that there is no government in working in Himachal. CM is busy dealing his own cases of corruption and none is there to work for the public. “Virbhadra Singh is only CM of announcements, he has announced Dharamshala to be second capital and he may announce Mandi as 3rd capital the other day”, he quipped.
He said that centre has given Rs.3500 crore for Smart City Dharamshala and HP government has only Rs.35 lakh instead of 10% share.
Dhumal said Virbhadra is a liar.
