Jalandhar, October 17, 2014: KMV invited a group of faculty members and to interact with the students and faculty of KMV.  The team of inquisitive students was led by Sarabjeet Hothi. 

Baker and Brown were the accompanying faculty members and Louise, Parneon, Muna, Sian and Kajal were the students who had a wonderful exchange of ideas, views & thoughts with their counterparts at KMV.  On this particular occasion Parminder Beri, a social worker and activist was invited guest to throw light on gender studies, issues and concerns.  More than 100 KMVites had the interact with students from a different culture.  They had a meaningful and thought-provoking interacting regarding the challenges before women which is an issue which transcends socio-cultural boundaries.  Women have to always learn to face all difficulties with pluck, grit and determination. 

Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV averred that such exchange programmes provide exposure to the words which results in cultural and academic enrichment.  She maintained that future interaction will be further explored and students will be given platform to enrich themselves with such interactions. 

Prof. Atima Sharma, Principal KMV appreciated Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare, Rashmi Sharma, Dr. Neetu Chopra and Anshu Oberoi, Members of Department of Student Welfare for organising this exchange programme flawlessly.
