Cambridge International School for girls holds Investiture Ceremony

Jalandhar, May 26, 2017: On May 25th, deserving young talents of Cambridge International School for Girls, Jalandhar were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.
The school held the Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm. The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year.It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the new “Prefectorial Body” is formed every year.
The function was presided over by the Principal Ms Deepa Dogra . In her speech she encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity.
Ms. Mona Bhatia and Ms. Pooja Bhatia were the Chief Guests.Mr JK Kohli, Executive Director LWES,Ms. Geeta Mahajan, Director Academics and Operations, Ms. Meenu Huria and Ms. Smita Verma , Director Academics , Secretariat , Mr. A. S Sikand, Coordintor Sports , CIS, Mr Anurag Bhardwaj and Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Deputy Coordinator Sports were also present there. Ms Preeti Sharma Vice Principal administered the oath to the new Head Girl Sejal. This was followed by the house captains and house prefects taking the oath. The Chief Guests pinned the badge to the Prefects and the Principal handed over the flag to them.
They appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students. They also congratulated the newly appointed Prefects. They said “Pray not for a lighter load but strong shoulders”.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Song.
