CAPT AMARINDER AND MANISH TEWARI greet people on Guru Ravi Dass `Parkash Utsav’

Chandigarh/Ludhiana, February 24, 2013: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh on Sunday greeted people on the occasion of the parkash utsav of Sri Guru Ravi Dass Maharaj.

In his message to the people, Capt Amarinder said, Guru Ravi Dass was a great spiritual master who taught people love, compassion and brotherhood. He said, the Guru’s great values of universal brotherhood are more relevant in today’s world which is otherwise being threatened by narrow and petty partisan considerations.

The PCC President said, like other great spiritual masters Guru Ravi Dass’s contribution to the great Indian civilisation was distinct and unique and it will always be cherished, preached and practised.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting (Independent Charge) Manish Tewari has also congratulated people of Punjab on the occasion of the parkash utsav of Sri Guru Ravi Dass Maharaj.

In a statement here on Sunday, he has also prayed for brotherhood and harmony among people of the state.  

He said Sri Guru Ravi Dass Maharajhad given a message for love and brotherhood and the Guru’s ideology was a great gift to Indian culture. He said they could improve their life after following the preaching of Guruji.
