New Delhi/Jalandhar, October 29, 2013: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested Mukund Arvind Ghodke a Junior Engineer (QS & C) working in the office of Commander Works Engineer (CWE), Deolali, Nashik(Maharashtra) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 50,000 from a complainant.
A case was registered U/s 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 against Junior Engineer (QS & C) working in the office of Commander Works Engineer (CWE), Deolali, Nashik for demanding a bribe of Rs.50,000 from the complainant for clearing his pending bills of Rs. 60 lakh. CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed while demanding & accepting the bribe of Rs. 50,000 from the complainant. The house search of the accused is in progress.
The arrested accused will be produced in the Designated Court tomorrow (October 30). www.cityairnews.com
