New Delhi/Jalandhar, July 18, 2013: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a Case U/s.13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of PC Act 1988 against a Senior Commandant, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Ranchi for possession of alleged disproportionate Assets to the extent of about Rs. 1.48 crores.
It is also alleged that in the year 2006-07, he had purchased a residential apartment measuring 1400 sq.ft in the joint name of self and wife in Defence Colony, New Delhi and also constructed a three stored house at Ashok Nagar, Ranchi. All the assets were allegedly acquired during his short service career.
Searches are being conducted today at the residential premises of the officer at Ashok Nagar, Ranchi ; Defence Colony, New Delhi and Dumka, (Jharkhand).
Further investigation is continuing.
