CBI registers case against two MDs/promoters of Delhi-based private companies and others for allegedly cheating general public

New Delhi/Jalandhar, February 22, 2014: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against two Managing Directors/Promoters of Delhi based private companies and their other Directors/ Associates on the allegations of collection of huge deposits from the public at large by running paramedical scheme under the garb of allotment of agricultural land to depositors.
An Inquiry was earlier undertaken by CBI on the directions of Supreme Court for inquiring into the said allegations, which resulted into a criminal case against them & their associates for criminal conspiracy and cheating.
Searches have been conducted at the office & residential premises of accused persons in New Delhi; Chandigarh; Mohali & Ropar in Punjab and Jaipur. The search operation has led to recovery of huge records & data relating to deposits from public and their mis-utilisation & diversion of funds.
