Hyderabad, January 4, 2017: Muddy Soles, a three-day Sports Fiesta began at Open Minds—A Birla School at is campus in Kollur in Gachibowli in city today.

Over 350 students, 35 each from 9 well reputed schools took part and displayed their athletic skills in different sports - Athletics, Individual and Team sports such as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Chess and Carrom Board. The second inter school sports fiesta will go on till 6th January.

The objective of the event is to encourage sportsmanship and leadership skills among students through competition informed Padmaja Penmetsa, Life Coach & Chief People Officer in a press note issued in city today

This is the event where schools from around the vicinity are invited to play against one another to carry forward the legacy of sportsmanship. It is a time when all the schools interact with one another with a competing fervor, also with intent to put their best foot forward, sharing the best camaraderie with the others.

The culmination of Muddy Soles every year is an internal event, where the parents and staff play a friendly cricket match against one another. The tournament will end with prize distribution.

Results
In the 50 Meters run in U-12 Boys category, Varun from CGR School won while Prateek & Vedant both from Meridian School stood at 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

In 100 meters run, the U-16 boys Category, Anish Pati from Glendale School won while Manas from Meridian School & Adyant from Ganges Valley were at 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

In the 50 Meters run in U-12 Girls category, Anshika from CGR School Won the first prize while Varshini & Devasree, both from Ganges Valley School won 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

In 100 meters run, the U-16 Girls category, Vindhya from Glendale School the Participant stood first while Harika from OBUL Reddy School and Aashna from Open Minds School stood at 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
