Rotary District Governor Ratna Prabhakar announced a grant of US $ 10,000 from Rotary International for the project for which Rotary Club of Hyd Deccan has organised the Charity Fashion Show
Hyderabad, March 27, 2017: Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan organised a Charity Fashion Show here in city on Sunday night at Chowmahalla Palace. The grand gala show was organised with the support of Angasutra and Fashion Designers Neeta Lulla and Gaurang Shah to raise funds to upgrade Rotary Blood Bank in the city and also to support 37 Thalassemia affected children.

Fifty five donor celebrities have come forward to walk the ramp for the noble cause. They are the achievers from all walks of life. These include Rotary members, their guests, friends, relatives and general public who took to centre stage for a cause and helped raise funds for the cause informed Rotarian Kamal Goel, President of Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan.

Charity has always brought Hyderabad together said Rotarian Ravi Khandelwal, the Convenor of the Charity Show.

Highlight of the show was Kanathi Sravya, a visually challenged girl with substance taking to the centre stage along with the Neeta Lulla. Pragya Jaiswal a film actress and model who appeared in Telugu and Hindi films was the show stopper for Neeta Lulla sequence. And Sandhya Raju was the show stopped for Gaurang Shah’s sequence. The show had two sequences. Though none of the ramp walkers were professional models, but they conducted so well and added glitter and grace to the show. It had an amazing musc, sectular Chowmahallah Palace as backdrop.

The show was choreographd by Imran Khan.

Iqbal Patni’s poetry as background score was something which was unusal and captivated the attention of the 1500 plus audience.

It was a fund raiser event planned to mobilise funds to upgrade and refurbish Rotary Blood Bank. We propose to add equipment and improve the efficiency of component separation, improve its ability to collect and augment facilities to serve the needs of the city particularly those of Thalassemia affected children informed Kamal Goel.
