A joint delegation of CICU & CII meets the authorities concerned at Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, October 8, 2015: Shri Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, CICU & Shri Rahul Ahuja, Convener, CII in a joint statement released today said that a CII & CICU Delegation held a meeting with Shri G K Singh, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana & Senior officials from National Highway Authority to discuss the issue of building - Free-Way Entry & Exit Points from Focal Point to City.
The meeting was concluded with the decision that the representatives from National Highway Authority, Municipal Corporation & Industries will visit at sight next week to check and discuss pros & cons of building this Free-Ways Entry & Exit Points and find out a solution of the same.
They further stated that this Free-ways Entry & Exit Points will create problems for the Industries in many ways and thus, it needs to be checked thoroughly & discussed.
Other issues, such as; removal of Encroachments, Construction of the Damage Roads, Repair of Sewerage, Streamlining of Traffic in the City etc. were also discussed in the meeting. Hon’ble Commissioner, Shri G K Singh assured that these issues will be resolved on priority.
The prominent industrialists who attended the meeting were Mr. Rajnish Ahuja, Vice President, CICU, Mr. Rahul Ahuja, Convener, CII, Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, CICU, Mr. O P Bassi & Mrs. Mirdula Jain.
