Ludhiana, October 31, 2014: More than 30 members CICU delegation comprising Avtar Singh, President and Upkar Singh General Secretary Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), today left for visit to Japan to attend JIMTOF-2014, which is being held from October’ 30 to November’ 4, at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Centre ) by the Japan Machine Tool Builders Association. The delegation was flagged off by senior industrialists G.S. Kahlon, J.P. Singh Jivan, Lakhbir Kumar Aul and S.B. Singh.

The main purpose of the delegation is to explore new areas of technology infusion/up-gradation, use of low cost automation, improving market of MSMEs products. This will also provide in-depth knowledge and use of cost effective integrated manufacturing solutions to enable participants to meet and conduct business with fast emerging industries. This will also enable the visiting delegation to efficiently preview, view and source from the widest array of most innovative products, technologies and solutions showcased by the world’s leading players as-well-as the cost effective machine tools to improve manufacturing efficiency and sharpen competitive edge. This event will keep the visiting participants in pace with the latest manufacturing trends through enriching conference and seminar program. The delegation shall be paying visit to specified industrial units in Japan to study the impact of use of cost effective machine tools for adoption in their units in India.

This visit will be by for one of the most unique and exclusive of its kind towards promoting bilateral trade between Japan and India. CICU delegation included leading industrialists namely Rajnish Ahuja, Tejvinder Singh, Jatinder Paul Singh, Jagtar Singh Soni, Naresh Kumar, Satya Pal Singh, Subhash Gupta, Rajinder Singh, Arvinder Singh Dhiman and others.
