CICU organises Second Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2014 for cricket lovers

Players gathered for the 11th and 12th league matches played on November 9 for Group B teams between Hi-tech International & Aareen Healtcare under 2nd CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2014 at Ludhiana. 

Ludhiana, November 10, 2014: 2nd CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2014 is being held on every Sunday which is spread over period of 15 weeks commencing from October 5 this year at Cricket Ground SCD Government College for Boys Ludhiana. Sixteen Participating Corporate Teams have been divided into Four Groups. Each team would be playing three league matches and final will be played on January 11 next.

The 11th and 12th league matches were played on November 9 for Group B teams  between Hi-tech International & Aareen Healtcare. It was won by  Hi-Tech International  team  by 05 wkts. Winner team scored 107 runs in 16.1 over’s   losing 5 wkts. &   loser team scored 105 runs in 17 overs losing 10 wkts.

Where as in Group D Teams  matches were played  between Gurmail Medicine Centre & Kay Jay Forgings. It was won by  Kay Jay Forgings  team  by 8 wkts.   Winner team scored 93 runs in 11.5 overs  losing 2 wkts. & loser team scored92 runs 17.3 in over’s losing 10 wkts.

Upkar Singh General Secretary CICU said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching your sport live at the cricket ground is a fun filled and awesome experience.

Many cricket lovers including senior management persons and promoters of many companies especially Gopi Kothari, MD, Amit Kothari, JMD of Kay Jay Forgings, Mohinder Singh, MD, M/s Gurmail Medicines Centre, Sidharath Sareen of M/s Hi-Tech International, Sham Lal, Partner, M/s S S Engg. Works, Manjit Singh Matharoo and Harjit Singh, CA, Ludhiana enjoyed the thrilling moments along with their relatives and friends thereby boosting the morale of participating teams, encouraging and cheering top players.
