Ludhiana, June 17, 2015: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana Press Secretary & JCI Senator Mr Didarjit Singh Lotey, is unanimously elected as Councillor for Asia Pacific Development Council of Junior Chamber International for the year 2015-16. He is elected at recently held Asia Pacific Conference at Kota KinaBalu, Malaysia from11th to 14th June’ 2015. He was the only candidate nominated from India by National President of JCI India. He is an active Member of JCI Ludhiana City.
JCI - Junior Chamber International is a Worldwide Non Profit Organization of Young Active Citizens aged 18 to 40 who are engaged & committed to creating Impact in their communities having its Head Office in USA. Objective of the Asia Pacific Development Council is to strengthen the working of the organization in the Asian & Pacific Countries. Being his election as Councillor, the countries assigned to him; are Maldives & Bhutan. Mami Hatano from Japan is elected as Chairperson of the Council. He is one of the 6 Councillors who have been elected from Singapore, Japan, Philippines, Korea, Hong Kong.
CICU President S. Avtar Singh & General Secretary S. Upkar Singh congratulated him on his election for this prestigious post and bringing new recognition to the CICU also.
