CM okays post of vice chairman in Punjab State Women Commission

CM appoints three directors on BODs of PBCLDFC, PSCLDFC and member in Punjab State BC Commission
Chandigarh, February 28, 2014: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today appointed two Directors on the Board of Directors (BoDs) of Punjab Scheduled Caste Land Development & Finance Corporation (PSCLDFC) and another in the Punjab Backward Classes Land Development & Finance Corporation (PBCLDFC) besides a Member in the Punjab State BC Commission.  
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal appointed Gurvaid Singh and Ramesh Meghwal as Directors on the BoDs of Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PSCLDFC) and Ashok Kumar in the Punjab Backward Classes Land Dev. & Finance Corporation (PBCLDFC).  The Chief Minister also appointed Gokul Chand as a member of the Punjab State BC Commission.  
The spokesperson further said that Badal cleared the file in this behalf late last evening and the formal orders in this regard would be issued in due course of time after the completion of requisite formalities.  
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also gave approval to appoint one member as the Vice Chairman in the Punjab State Women Commission from amongst six non-government members.
