CMC Ludhiana excels in Surgery in Heart Defects in little children

Ludhiana, November 14, 2017: About 30 children who had open heart surgery at CMC, Ludhiana came forward to celebrate the Children’s day and say thank you to CMC Ludhiana doctors & staff and to Have Heart Foundation and its president Mr.Balbir Kumar.
CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana celebrated Children’s day on 14th November, 2017 with felicitation of Mr. Balbir Kumar president of Have a Heart Foundation who has been helping children to have open heart surgery.Have a Heart Foundation trustees on this occasion assured constant support in future too for treatment of cardiac patients with financial &moral support.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Abraham G. Thomas, Director CMC & Hospital reinforced the commitment to serve the sick & needy with compassion & care.
Dr. Allen Joseph, Professor & HOD honored the Director and extended warm thanks and gratitude to all faculty and trustees of “ Have a Heart” and all heart patients & their families who attended the function in large number in spite of fog and cold.
Dr. Christopher Roy senior consultant paediatric cardiac surgeon made a presentation on “Problems of Cardiac disease in India”.
Dr. Namrata Gaur Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon who conducted the show spoke about the Mission of CMC & Hospital to provide services in far reaching areas of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu & all North-West India and the efforts of CTVS team to make heart surgery possible.
Medical superintendent, Dr. William Bhatti, Pediatricians, Cardiologists, Surgeons& many senior faculties attended the program& participated in celebrating little hearts.Parents of Children who benefitted from the institute were happy and grateful for all the care, treatment, and support from CMC & Hospital.
