Ferozepur, December 20, 2012: A meeting of Anti Crime and Social Services Organisation was held under the presidentship of National President T. P. Bakshi and Punjab President, Manu Sharma in which Amrik Singh, Shamsher Singh Bhagat, Hardip Bedi, Paresh Kumar, Kuldip Sharma, Vinod Kumar, N. K. Monga and Vishal Kumar, participated.
On this occasion, the governments were condemned for ignoring the historical city Ferozepur and development works.
The leader said, the unemployed educated youth of the area are running from pillar to post for employment as no big industry and projects have been installed in Ferozepur.
Punjab president Manu Sharma said, the Ferozepur bus stand constructed in 2001 with crores of rupees is looking isolated and the building is deteriorating as despite number of protests by the citizens, no long route buses enters the bus stand. There is no government college in Ferozepur and after passing out the school, higher education for the children from the poor families is beyond their reach and no government is paying attention to the problems of Ferozepur and its further development.
The president further said, the Organisation has decided to organise an awareness rally on December 21 against drug addition, social evils and taking the issue of development of Ferozepur.
