Congress Govt fails on all fronts: Sanjay Singh; Condemns killing of farmers in MP

Ludhiana, May 7, 2017: senior National leader of Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh asserted that Congress government lead by Capt.Amrinder Singh in Punjab has completely failed on all fronts and people were feeling cheated , as not even a single of the promises made during elections was fulfilled even after the passage of three months of time.
Addressing a well attended meeting of party volunteers at Party Office after attending Court, Sanjay Singh said that all the major promises including waiving of farmer's debts, smart phones to youth, one job to each family, enhancing of pensions to Rs.2500/ month, complete whipping out drug trade and eradication of all mafias from the state were unattended so far. He claimed that farmers' suicides in Punjab are continuing and more than 60 farmers' had committed suicides. He charged the Congress government for patronising the sand/gravel mafia in state and said that during e-auction of sand and gravel mines in State, one of Cabinet Ministers had captured mines through the employees of his companies and Chief Minister has given a clean chit to the Minister. He said that the Judicial enquiry of the e- auction episode was just an eye wash and it was clearly ordered just to save the Minister. Sanjay Singh claimed that it was only AAP, which raised a strong voice against drug mafia and Capt. Amrinder Singh government had not booked even a single big fish of drug peddling, for which he promised keeping Gutka Sahib in hand.
Expressing his serious concern on killing of 6 agitating farmer's in MP, he said that this was highly condemnable and uncalled far. Mr.Singh called upon the Punjab farmer's to lead national level agitation of farmer's to press the Union and State Govt to accept the farmer's demands.
Sanjay Singh appreciating the hard work of volunteers during elections told them not to get disappointed from the performance lower than their expectations in elections and exhorted them to take up all the public issues and get these sorted at all levels.
Addressing the meeting Deputy Leader of Opposition Bibi Sarbhjit Kaur said that party MLAs will not allow the Congress Govt run away from the promises made with people in elections and assured that they will raise the public issues in and outside Vidhan Sabha with full strength.
