Congress leaders congratulated Vimal Sumbly on being appointed as Press Secretary of Punjab CM

Ludhiana, March 22, 2017: Punjab Congress General Secretary Pawan Dewan and Gurmail Singh Pehalwan congratulated Vimal Sumbly (Senior journalist and Media Advisor of Captain Amarinder Singh since last nine years) on being appointed as Press Secretary of Chief Minister. Besides this, Sumbly is also honoured with the rank of Chief Parliamentary Secretary.

Expressing their happiness,Dewan and Pehalwan thanked Captain Amarinder Singh for believing in Sumbly. They further continued,it was Vimal Sumbly who always maintained the link up between the Congress party and media in Punjab. He always successfully managed in presenting and explaining party's view point to people. They also said, "We have complete trust on Sumbly's abilities and he will successfully showcase all the policies and decision of the govt. to the common man and act as a bridge between Govt. and media.

Besides Dewan and Pehalwan,other Congress party leaders including Punjab Congress Secretary Sunil Dutt, Satwinder Singh Jawaddi, Vinod Bathla, Palwinder Singh Taggar, Baljinder Singh Bunty,Tony Kapoor, Deepak Hans, Malhotra, Maninderpal Singh Titu also congratulated Vimal Sumbly.
