The race for a better smartphone has become more competitive than ever. From price points to hardware specs, consumers are now gradually looking out for some specialized features while buying a smartphone. LG’s recently launched devices reiterates the brand’s image of bringing innovative technology in the Indian market. Here’s a look at some of the key differentiators of LG smartphones that sets them apart from others in the industry.
Modular Design –
LG G5 is your perfect life companion. It is the first smartphone with modular type design that gives it an ability to transform into a digital camera, Hi-Fi player and more, while evolving to marry the traditional removable battery in a full metal uni-body design for the first time ever.
Durability and Reliability -
Smartphone durability is rarely among the top concerns that consumers give when looking for a new phone. The LG V20 boasts a minimalist metal body with a thin bezel design that delivers good looks and a convenient grip. The sleek metal body is equipped with aircraft grade aluminum. Si-PC, a great shock-absorbing material, protects the top and bottom edges of V20, while the flat display and rear PET cover protect the front and back. In fact, the phone is complaint with the U.S. military standard test. The LG V20 remains unscathed even if the phone is dropped from around 5 feet on a hard, carpeted floor which clearly validates its durability and reliability.
Prioritizing Safety –
The recently launched LG K10 features a `112 emergency number’ set up in the form of a panic button dedicated to ensure the safety & security of people who are vulnerable targets in crime related incidents or emergency situations.
Bezel-less smartphone -
With the average user spending up to five hours per daywith their smartphone, it is more important than ever before to ensure that the display is optimized to provide the best user experience possible. The LG G6 which was recently launched at the Mobile World congress (MWC) has got a lot of appreciation for its bezel-less display. The phone feels luxurious and comfortable with its 5.7-inch screen that takes up roughly 80 percent of the phone, leaving thin margins all around. At 565 pixels per inch, the screen is super-sharp, and it takes on an 18:9 aspect ratio (aka: 2:1). This is unique considering most phones are 16:9.
LG smartphones are surely a delight for users and is not just about specs that are best-in-class, but is an overall power-packed performer in the true sense, said a company release.
