Ferozepur, December 18, 2012: Jaggi of Mehatpur has been alleged to have kidnapped the 17-year-old cousin of Balwinder Singh of Makhu, in connivance with two of his relatives, by misleading, on December 11, 2012 at about 11.30 a.m., with intention to marry her.
Giving the details, Swinderal Singh, Inspector said, the Makhu police have registered a case on 17 December, 2012, against Jaggi, resident of Wariya falling under Mehatpur polices station in Jalandhar District, and two of his accomplices namely Baboo and Sabba, on the complaint of Balwinder Singh resident of Manjh Wala (Makhu), under sections 363, 366 IPC.
He further said, no arrest has so far been made in this case.
The police have, however, started investigation into the matter and hoped to nab the culprits soon.
