CT University spreads the message of celebrating Eco Friendly Diwali

Around 500 students from different CBSE schools accompanied by the students from Deaf and Dumb School, Ludhiana gathered.
Ludhiana, October 12, 2017: Diwali is round the corner and the fervour is seen everywhere. CT University is all into promoting a safe and eco friendly Diwali. Around 500 students from different CBSE schools visited CT University. Moreover, they were accompanied by deaf and dumb students from Deaf and Dumb School, Ludhiana. Then, trees were planted for spreading the message of safe and green Diwali with being concerned towards nature. Also, a pledge and signature campaign was done to celebrate a safe and pollution.
A charitable event was organised for the special children where they exhibited and sold their handmade material. Then after, all the students were taken for a visit in CT University campus and they visited various departments of the university.
"This event brought smiles on various faces as the special children were so encouraged to exhibit their handmade stuff. Moreover, we here at CT promote eco friendly Diwali. Such events are beneficial for both humanity and nature." said, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, (Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University).
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chancellor, CT University) and Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) also graced the occasion by their presence. They said, "We must always promote green and safe Diwali. One must avoid crackers as they harm the environment and we at CT University also are in favor of protecting the nature from harmful gases spread by bursting crackers."
