Students on Monday (Day-III) participate in workshop organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, December 22, 2014: The Department of Design of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on the 3rd day of series of Workshop on Design Skill Enhancement invited ace craftsmen from Patiala to learn the traditional techniques of making Punjabi Jutti.  The craftsmen explained the whole procedure from the inception of the idea to the finish product to the students, according to information available with cityairnews.com .Variety of samples of Juttis made using different material like Velvet, Leather, Silk etc. were shown to the students.  The difference in embroidery techniques on the Juttis was explained through demonstrations by the Craftsmen.  The thrust of the workshop is to learn the traditional method of the craft and infuse in it a new spirit with some innovation and creative design.
