Delegation from London offers consultancy for Transformation of Ludhiana city

Ludhiana, August 25, 2016: A delegation from London met Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria on Thursday and offered consultancy for the Transformation of city. The delegates had come from Multinational Developments Limited which is a consultancy company based in London and specializes in management of the humanitarian projects. The delegates offered consultancy in Housing for all scheme as they specializes in constructing houses which are earth quake resistant and fire resistant. The major thrust of the meeting was on affordable housing scheme as delegates claimed that they construct houses at 50 percent less rate.

The delegation was headed by Malcolm Niven chairman of Multinational Developments Limited and due to his services Queen of England conferred with honour of Lord. While interacting with Mayor he told that they deal in four main sectors including housing, renewable energy, water treatment and waste to energy. He also told that they can also provide funding facilities for humanitarian projects in both the private and government sector.

Meanwhile the director of Multinational Developments Limited Peter Gillott told that they can construct residential (private/social housing), healthcare (hospitals/medical centers), education (schools) and Hotels. Regarding renewable energy sources he told that they can provide companies to provide renewable energy to communities through solar/hydro/battery storage and LED lighting.

The Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria told that they have listened to their concept and the best thing is that they claimed to provide houses at 50 percent less cost so the major concentration would be on affordable housing for all scheme. He told that they would try to organize their meeting with the Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal who is coming to city on Friday. The Mayor shared that concept can be implemented at state level if Deputy CM finds it suitable.

It is pertinent to mention here that councillor Jagbir Singh Sokhi had came in contact with this delegation and he organised their meeting with the Mayor.
