Samrala, December 1, 2015: A motor cycle borne youth was killed and another was injured in a road accident due to dense fog in the morning hours. The deceased was identified as Lakhwinder Singh(27) a resident of village Nanowal Kalan while the injured was identified as Sukhwinder Singh also a resident of village Nanowal.
As per information the youths were going towards village Kotala from Kakrala on a link road. When they reached near village Kotala suddenly some unidentified vehicle hit them and they fell on the ground. Due to this accident Lakhwinder Singh died on the spot while the injured was rushed to civil Hospital Samrala where he was recovering. No case was registered in this regard as per Chowki Incharge Hedon Barjinder Singh and the body of the deceased was handed over to his guardians after post mortem. / (SK Shourie, Khanna)
