Chandigarh, February 18, 2013: Punjab Legal and Legislative Affairs Department has asked all the departments to submit legislative proposals, which are to be submitted in the Legislative Assembly, in time.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson said that written instructions in this regard have been issued. He said that the budget session of the Legislative Assembly has been scheduled to commence on March 11, 2013.
The spokesperson further said that many of the departments have still not submitted their legislative proposals. He said that the department is facing much difficulty to compile the report of legislative proposals.
He further said that in this backdrop, departments have been told to furnish legislative proposals in time so as the department could scrutinize the material and prepare bills to be tabled in the Legislative Assembly.
