Says Providing A Transparent Administration With Accountability Main Priority; Outgoing DC Ravi Bhagat Thanks Residents For Their Wholehearted Support During His Tenure
Ludhiana, March 17, 2017: 2006-batch IAS officer Mr Pardeep Kumar Agarwal today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana today. Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat was also present on the occasion, along with Mr Agarwal's wife Mrs Sanyogita, Daughter Diya, besides all senior district administration officials.
While speaking to media persons, Deputy Commissioner Mr Agarwal said that providing a transparent administration with complete accountability would be his main priority. He said that he will try his best to take forward Mr. Ravi Bhagat’s initiative. He said that special plans would be formulated for various fields such as traffic, environment, healthcare, education, safety of senior citizens, women and children, besides other areas. Before this, the guard of honour was given to him by Ludhiana police.
Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat thanked the residents for their wholehearted support for various issues. He said that his tenure as Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana for around more than a year was a pleasing one and there are many new things which he learnt from the city.
