The official vehicles of Deputy Commissioner SBS Nagar seen without red beacon.
Nawanshahr, March 3, 2014: Taking a lead today, Anindita Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar in view of the new notification regarding the use of beacon issued by Punjab Government today got removed red beacon from her official vehicles.
The deputy commissioner said though the new notification has not arrived to her office formally yet she took this decision considering her moral responsibility after reading about it through the dailies.
