Ludhiana, October 31, 2014: A seminar was held in United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA), Ludhiana office in association with NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation Ltd) under the leadership of the Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma (President).
Bank Tie Up Scheme
Around 100 members were present in the meeting. In the meeting various schemes were discussed which was being introduced by NSIC for the benefit of MSME industries. In the beginning Rajesh Jain told about the NSIC and its benefit to MSME sector. In the seminar 2 schemes were discussed in details by NSIC officials. First scheme was Bank Tie Up Scheme. In this G.Dixit told that NSIC is having tied up with 28 Banks of National as well as private sector. If the MSME industrialist wants loan from the Bank then NSIC officials will help them to prepare the proposal on their behalf. After preparing the proposal it is their duty to put up to the Bank and keep proper follow up with the Bank till the Proposal get passed and the loan amount is sanctioned. The NSIC will provide this service to the MSME sector for free of cost. Now it is upto the MSME sector to get the maximum benefit of this scheme as it is free of cost.
E-Marketing in today’s world.
Next scheme was B-2-C / B-2-B portal as tool for marketing. The briefing of this scheme was being done by Dr.P.Dey. He told that NSIC has just introduced this scheme for MSME sector by keeping in View the importance of E-marketing which prevails in today’s world. Today is the time of online systems. In this Diwali around 40% of the business in India was done through E-marketing. Due to busy life nobody wants to use his time for going to buy particular product from the shop. By using the electronic media they purchase the products and save time. In the western country near about 80% of the marketing is done through internet. Now in India e-business is taking gear up. In the coming time all the business man should have to use this media as business tool. So NSIC has made different Portal for marketing the products. In this they will help the industries to make the Virtual store in which different categories of product is being displayed electronically which could be easily viewed by the customers and purchased by them. For this NSIC will make Web Store for the industrialist. As for preparing this web certain charges are there which is being charged by NSIC. But for the UCPMA members it is free of cost for first 3 months. So UCPMA is making a cluster for this. So whoever members wants to take the benefit of it can register his name. The other site which has been developed by NSIC is www.msmeshopping.com in which purchase and sale can be made by the industrialists.
Inderjit Singh Navyug (Sr. Vice President), Joginder Kumar (Chairman), Pradeep Wadhwan (Secretary), Ajit Kumar (Propaganda Secretary), Acchru Ram Gupta (Finance Secretary), G.L.Phawa, Rajesh Bansal, Jagmohan Singh Marshal, Rajesh Jain (DGM NSIC), G.Dixit (GM Finance NSIC), Dr.P.Dey (GM B2B/B2C NSIC) andn Hemani Sally (Bank Tie-Up NSIC) were among those present.
