DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION OBSERVES THE 11TH CIVIL SERVICES DAY

Ludhiana, April 21, 2017: 11th Civil Services Day was observed by District Administration at Bachat Bhawan today. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Pardeep Kumar Agarwal presided over the function. During this function address of Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narinder Modi was telecasted live and review of pro-people schemes was done as well.

Addressing the officials, Mr. Agarwal said that while rendering our services to nation we should keep in mind that this is my country and it is our duty to develop it as well. If administrative officer renders his services by keeping in mind the interests of people and country, nobody can stop the progress of this country. A Administrative officer can play vital role in the development of country.

He said that when our country is moving from ‘e-governance’ toward ‘m-governance’, now it is dire need to make people benefitted from pro-people schemes. To make these schemes more better, it is necessary to make decisions instantly in favour of people. All eligible people must be benefitted with government schemes, he added.

DC also took the stock of ongoing schemes and ordered to review these schemes time to time. ADC Miss Apneet Riyait, ADC Mr Mohinderpal Gupta and other senior officials were present in this function.
