Fatehgarh Sahib, November 30, 2015: District Fatehgarh Sahib Police have solved a blind murder case of an aged person and have arrested two persons in this regard. The real cause of this murder was illicit relations of the deceased and alleged accused with a woman as per SSP Fatehgarh Sahib. The arrested persons were identified as Jaskaran Singh and Gurjit Singh both residents of Sanghol. SSP Fatehgarh Sahib Jatinder Singh Khaira stated that the body of Bhag Singh a resident of village Pohlo Majra was recovered on November 23 morning and a special team comprising of SP(D) Fathegarh Saib Rajwinder Singh Sohal, DSP Khamano Ajinder Singh and SHO Khamano Sukhvir Singh was constituted and this team cracked this case.
SSP stated that the real cause of this murder were alleged illicit relations of deceased Bhag Singh and alleged accused Jaskaran Singh with a woman of village Sanghol. He said that as per investigation Bhag Singh was having illicit relations with a woman and alleged accused Jaskaran Singh was opposite to this as he was also having illicit relations with the same woman. He said that on the night of November 22-23 Jaskaran Singh along with one of his friend Gurjit reached on the motor of deceased Bhag Singh and hit Bhag Singh in the head by a rod. Later they pushed the throat of Bhag Singh with foot that led to his death. SSP said that they have recovered the rod used in the murder and blood clad clothes of alleged accused Gurjit. SSP gave information that the alleged accused were presented in the court at Khamano from where the alleged accused were awarded two days police remand for further investigation.
SP(D) Fatehgarh Sahib along with Inspector Ajaypal Singh and SHO Khamano were also present at this time. / (SK Shourie, Khanna)
