District Roller skating championship concludes

Zirakpur, September 3, 2017: A two day Mohali District Roller Skating Championship at Dikshant Global School Campus, VIP Road, here has concluded. The championship saw a participation of more than 200 in the for age groups of Under-4 to Above 16.

While 300m and 500m races were held on day1, the second and final day witnessed with 1000m and road races. Those who made it to the medal league at the district-level will participate in state championship.

Mr N K Sharma, MLA, Dera Bassi was the Chief Guest during the final day.

Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant Group of Schools said, “We have excellent infrastructure for holding Roller Skating events & have been giving sports an important place in the education system in our schools both Dikshant International & Dikshant Global."
