Gurgaon, November 7, 2015: With Diwali around the corner, students of Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC), Faridabad India’s largest vocational training network for the apparel sector, organised a 2 day exhibition cum sale “Creative Hunt” on 6th and 7th November at their campus. They created many products out of waste material in order to prevent wastage of money and resources. The theme of the exhibition was ‘Best out of waste’ and the main aim for conducting this exhibition was to build a sense of responsibility among youth to utilize waste materials in creative ways and to explore their innovative talents in search of a creative hunt. More than 70 students participated and put up their stalls. Sh.Vijay Jindal, MD, M/s SPL Industries, a leading apparel export house graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Students with the help of the waste materials such as wrappers, rag, ice cream sticks, straws, waste papers and nutshells, created beautiful pieces of decorations such as wall hangings, candle stand, photo frames, lamp covers, show pieces, women's knee length dresses, cushion covers etc.

Speaking on the occasion Tarundeep Gill, ATDC Faridabad Principal said “It is our best effort to let students develop a sense of belongingness and respect the skills that each one of them possesses apart from academics”

“ATDC Faridabad has provided us a chance to showcase our innovative skills and realize our potentials as an entrepreneur,” said Neetu, student of ATDC.

The exhibition benefitted the students who wished to explore their creative talents by utilizing waste material to create "Best out of Waste”, and gave a chance for parents and friends to appreciate and enjoy the work done by the students.
