Doraha Police arrest 3 car-borne persons, recover 40 kg of Ganja

Khanna, October 23, 2017: Doraha Police claimed to have arrested three car borne persons and recovered 40 kg of Ganja from their possession. The arrested persons have been identified as Ashish Kumar, Vikas Kumar and Sat Narayan, all residents of Bihar.
Addressing press conference, SSP Khanna NS Mahal said a police party led by SP(I) Khanna RPS Sandhu, DSP Payal Rashpal Singh Dhindsa and SHO Doraha Manjit Singh had laid a naka near Rest House Doraha. At about 1 pm the police party signaled an Indica car coming from Khanna side. During search of the car occupants the police party recovered 40 Kg of Ganja from their possession.
Doraha Police have registered a case under the NDPS Act in this regard against the accused.
SSP added the accused during preliminary investigation confessed that they had bought the contraband from some person from West Bengal on low price and they were to sell it in the area on higher rates but were arrested by an alerted police party.
SP RPS Sandhu, SP Balwinder Singh Bhikhi, SHO Doraha Manjit Singh and other concerned officials of Khanna Police were present at the press conference.
