Dy CM felicitates Taekwondo Silver Medalist Mansha Bashir

JAMMU, APRIL 10, 2017: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today felicitated Ms Mansha Bashir, the Silver Medalist of the International Taekwondo Championship held at Bangkok, Thailand last month.
Interacting with the athlete here, the Deputy Chief Minister while appreciating the feat achieved by the young sportsperson said it is heartening to know that our young talent has been making their mark at the international fora. He said the government is also doing its bit by way of upgrading the sports infrastructure and also facilitating the budding sportspersons to participate in the national and international sports events.
The Deputy Chief Minister also felicitated the team coach Sheikh Muzaffar.
It is pertinent to mention that Ms. Mansha hails from Chattabal in the old city Srinagar where as the team coach is from border district of Kupwara.
