Chandigarh, November 4, 2014: The Education Department has issued appointment letter to 54 lecturers and teachers of Adarsh Schools and given posting orders at the stations as per their choice at the spot.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesman said that GK Singh, Director General School Education has given away the appointment letters. He said that pursuing directions of Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema for upgrading the faculty in the schools recruitment process has been geared up. He said that besides 54 Lecturers and teachers, appointment letters to 219 Head Master/Mistress under RMSA have also been issued. All these recruits have also allotted the station as per their choice at the spot.
He further said that among these 54 new recruits 34 are Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and 20 are Trained Graduate teachers (TGT). Divulging the details he said that all the newly appointed PGT and TGT were called for allotting stations. He said all the vacant stations were being flashed on a big screen. All the PGT and TGT were asked to give their preferences against the vacant station flashing on the screen. The stations were allotted at the spot as per the request of the lecturers and teachers.
