Education Minister Aruna Chaudhary moves resolution thanking Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh, June 19, 2017: In his reply to the motion of thanks on the Governor's address the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced that education occupies top priority in his scheme of things. He said that the schools and colleges would be provided with free Wi-Fi facility. Books would be made available free of cost. The schools would see infrastructural transformation from primary level. In the near future, pre -primary classes would begun. The concept of smart classes would be put into action besides free Internet facility. The all 3 regions of the state would see opening of one sainik school each. The English medium as an option would be initiated in the primary /middle /higher and Senior Secondary schools of every block.

The Education Minister Mrs.Aruna Chaudhary praised the farsightedness and vision of the Chief Minister and moved a resolution of thanks. She also said that the Chief Minister conducted first and foremost the meeting of the Education Minister and had suggested reforms in the education sector on the occasion of recent declaration of results.

On the occasion, MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Nagra seconded the resolution and the Vidhan Sabha passed the resolution.
